Inspired morning

In those first few moments of the day, let us remind ourselves to seek inspiration. The alarm rings, I know I have to pack the lunches, get breakfast, dress and be on the road in a timely manner. While I sit for a few moments with my breakfast tea, I pick up Living Gratitude by Angeles Arrien, and turn to the October chapter.

In the beginning of the chapter, there is an inspiring quote by Albert Einstein, which can set the tone for the day.

A hundred times every day I remind myself

that my inner and outer life

depend on the labours of other men,

living and dead, and that I must exert myself

in order to give in the same measure

as I have received and am still receiving — Albert Einstein.

How can we be inspired by giving and receiving today?

By having a few inspiration books around, we can easily pick one up and get a whiff of something edifying and encouraging.
