Gratitude Journal, Day 2

It’s definitely challenging at times to write my gratitudes at the end of a tough day. I started out the day, tired, from another night of struggling, and up in the middle of the night without getting back to sleep. Still, I am beginning to think there is significant value in finding gratitude in difficult times.

Gratitudes for Thursday, November 18

1. Grateful for getting some writing done in the early morning when I couldn’t sleep.

2. Grateful for maintaining my composure and keeping patient at work although I was tired.

3. Grateful for taking a walk in the park at the end of the day and seeing the beautiful orange and pink colors in the sky as the sun was setting.

4. Grateful to come home and enjoy a simple dinner with my husband.

5. Grateful to talk with my mother on the phone, who is  86, and said to me that she is now trying to do everything with more appreciation.

Let me know how your gratitude journal is coming along? Let’s share in the spirit of thankfulness and spreading gratitude.
